Hill House
Before creating a family haven, this landscape had to first go through a transformation of landshaping to gently change the steep gradients and make more spaces for outdoor being. A perennial meadow with fruit trees, a circular play garden and a drought tolerant perennial terrace border was created in a stunning valley setting with views towards Kind Alfred’s Tower. The garden is being taken care of by talented local gardeners who have embraced traditional ways of meadow maintenance, with yearly autumn scything and reseeding.
